  • SKILLS (IST-2005-2.5.7) - research on Representation and Storage of Multimodal Information and Algorithmic Modeling of Gesture Analysis
  • HAPTEX (IST-2004-6549) – contribution to the architecture of the haptic system for the simulation of touching of virtual textiles.
  • Enactive Network of Excellence (IST-2004-002114) – participation to the work packages relative to Creativity Tools, with particular interest on Virtual Sculpting, and to Standards for Haptic systems.
  • CREATE (IST-2001-34231) – analysis of grasping metaphors for a architectural reconstruction application using multi-point of contact haptic interface. Integration of the Physics and Haptic component with the graphic component running SGI Performer in a Reality Center and a CAVE.
  • PureForm (IST 2000-29580) – contribution to the software architecture and the haptic rendering component, with specific research on haptic textures and proxy algorithm

  • MOTORE POR-CREO - control of desktop haptic interface for rehabilitation. With Humanware
  • AIDA (I4005MB) – evaluation of haptic rendering techniques with stereo graphics
  • Vicom FIRB – definition of the architecture and implementation of a virtual restoration tool for paintings using haptic interfaces. The next step on this project is the evaluation of collaborative aspects in the interaction between teacher and student with the help of haptic interaction
